After years of effort and experience, the technical team of Zomorod Sanat Asia Company has achieved the technology of building slab stone scanner machines based on machine vision for the first time in the country. The first industrial sample of the machine was operationalized in the production line of the factory in 2011, and since then, it has succeeded in introducing the sixth and seventh generations of stone scanners with incredible quality to the stone industry.

Stone processing factories face difficulties in marketing and selling large-sized slab stones. It is challenging to view each slab and determine its quality, pattern, and design, especially when they are stacked on top of each other in large pallets in the warehouse. Moving each slab, which weighs around 150 kilograms, is not only time-consuming but also poses risks to human workers and the possibility of damaging the slabs during constant movement, leading to significant financial losses.
To address these issues, and after consulting and researching with top companies in the stone industry, a system has been designed to capture high-quality images of slab stones. This eliminates the need to move the slabs physically, and at the same time, provides the ability to view online images of the factory's products. Customers, both inside and outside the company, can easily examine the quality, pattern, design, and other information of the stones through high-quality and accurate photographs.
Building such a system requires not only software knowledge but also complex hardware knowledge to construct a scanner device. Zomorod Sanat Asia Company's technical team has acquired the necessary expertise and knowledge to build a stone scanner device over the years. They introduced the first prototype of this device in 2011 and have since introduced the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth generations of stone scanners. The company has continuously improved its hardware and software, and the stone scanner is now operational in several industrial factories, competing in terms of quality with foreign examples.
